The
Boardman House in Saugus is an excellent and rare examp
le of a surviving first period home. Built by William Boardman in 1692, many of its original features are still intact. The home is registered as a
National Historic Landmark and is owned and maintained by
Historic New England . The house is open to the public for tours six days a year. The next public tour will be on Saturday June 6 from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. when admission to the house will be free.
