The
Hartwell Home and Tavern, located in
MMNHP in Lincoln, was built by Ephraim Hartwell in 1732-33. Situated right on
Battle Road on April 19, 1775 British Regulars passed by the tavern both going to Concord and on the way back to Boston. The Hartwell Tavern has been restored by the National Park Service to its original 18th. century appearance.
